Description
The Opinel No. 09 Ocean Red is a pocket knife designed for sailors and sailing enthusiasts, inspired by maritime safety codes.
Its 9 cm part-serrated, corrosion-resistant blade comes with a built-in shackle key to quickly release shackles under load.
The sturdy polyamide handle houses a hardened steel marlinspike for working ropes, untying or opening them, as well as a 110 dB whistle that meets maritime safety requirements, for use in an emergency at sea.
A lanyard hole at the end of the handle makes it easy to clip to a bag, belt or piece of kit.
Made in France by Opinel, the Savoie manufacturer whose cutlery goes back to 1890.
