Piganiol, a French maker known for its umbrellas and parasols, has taken care over every detail of this one. The decorative edging gives it relief and a worked, feminine look. This is closer to a fashion accessory than to summer equipment.

The UV 50+ certification is there, discreet but useful: it gives real protection without spoiling the look. The frame combines aluminium, wood and recycled polyester, making it light yet sturdy. With a 98 cm diameter when open, it gives good cover while remaining easy to handle at 90 cm long.
