Description
In the French Navy, the "bâchi" is the regulation headgear worn by everyone from sailors to quartermasters. This spinning top faithfully reproduces that headgear and was created in an official partnership with the French Navy.
The game of skill has two aspects. The spinning top naturally spins on its red pompom, which is a surprise in itself. But for the most skilled players, it can also balance on its stem—an additional challenge that keeps the game interesting well beyond the first few attempts.
It is made in the Jura region from solid lacquered wood, crafted using woodturning techniques passed down from generation to generation.
A toy for ages 4 and up that’s built to last.
