Description
Made in Olbernhau, in the German Ore Mountains, this wooden mathematical game continues an ancient toy tradition from the Erzgebirge region, where woodworking has been handed down for generations.
An educational game with 42 pieces housed in a wooden box with sliding lid. The principle is simple and well thought-out: 21 yellow pieces each carry two dice faces, and 21 green pieces carry numbers. The pieces are placed face-down; the player turns over one of each color and must match the sum of the two dice with the corresponding number. This mechanic requires observation, memory and mental calculation.
The game is ideal for progressive learning of addition, as well as visual perception of quantities.
