Description
This blend of spices from Martinique and Guadeloupe is used to enhance grilled meats, fish or shellfish.
After being rehydrated in oil, this blend of onions and herbs becomes a sauce used as a finishing touch just before serving, or as a marinade to impregnate food. Its tangy, fresh, spicy flavor is ideal for livening up simple dishes.
Its name Sauce Chien comes from the name of a Chien brand knife widely used in the West Indies to finely chop ingredients.
Ingredients: onions, parsley, garlic and crushed hot pepper.
