Description

A boot of character between Mexico and the Carmargue.

Founded in 1958, La Botte Gardiane perpetuates exceptional craftsmanship in the Camargue. Labelled Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company), each pair is handcrafted using artisanal techniques handed down from generation to generation.

Although Santiag will be worn by the Gardians of the Camargue, its origins lie in Mexico. Inspired by the boots worn by vaqueros, riders on vast ranches, it features a high shaft and beveled heel, designed to provide support and stability in the saddle. Introduced to the Camargue in the 1950s, they were quickly adopted by the gardians, becoming a symbol of their daily lives.

Water-resistant, durable and lined for added comfort, it's designed to last, to embellish over time, and to accompany each step with character. Its slim fit and meticulous finishing make it both practical and elegant, a reflection of the company's exacting expertise.
