Description
Gros Casse-Dents d'Allauch are an emblematic Provencal specialty, both rustic and gourmet. These dry, crunchy cookies, recognizable by their generous shape and firm texture, are made according to the traditional recipe of the village perched on the outskirts of Marseille.
Perfect with coffee, tea or ice cream, they're also delicious dipped in sweet wine or Muscat, as tradition dictates.

The name "casse-dents" is not an exaggeration! Their very hard texture is deliberate: these are cookies to be eaten slowly, to be broken or dipped, just like in the old days. They used to accompany peasant meals and family celebrations in the hills around Marseille. This product has been hand-packed for five generations.
