Description
A cleaning product:
Made from vegetable matter (cereals, beets..), varnishing alcohol allows to wash and dry the wood that has received a chemical treatment (stripper, lightener, stripper or dewaxer).
Varnishing alcohol rinses off the residues of these products and allows to visualize the badly treated areas during a restoration work. More generally, it is a very effective solution for degreasing and cleaning wood, metal or stone.

The polishing with the pad or the 'French polish' as the English call it, is a traditional technique which allows to protect new furniture and to restore old furniture.
The varnish is obtained by mixing fine alcohol with shellac.
This polish is applied with a thin film pad to give the wood an extremely smooth and shiny appearance like the glass of a mirror.
