The diameter of this model is too narrow to be mounted on a standard flush-mounting box under current standards. If you nonetheless wish to frame it with a box, two solutions are available:

• use the surface-mounting plate adapter here and a porcelain plate here
• use an aged beech plate — no adapter needed in that case — see here
