Conical candles 30 cm x6
Description
These exceptional taper candles are the fruit of precise workmanship: a unique, recognisable artisanal finish, flames of incomparable brilliance, greater luminosity and a longer burn time.
They come here in traditional shades: English green, white, old wax, papyrus, burgundy or red.
Set on beautiful candlesticks, they give a sideboard or a table a warm, refined touch of light.
Pack of 6 taper candles, 2.2 cm x 30 cm — also available in a 20 cm height here.
How the candles are made
The candles and wax objects are composed of carefully selected and measured ingredients, giving — thanks to this unique know-how — an exceptional wax density, and therefore a much longer life (3 to 5 times longer than industrial candles) and an intense, deep, living light. To obtain even shades, colour pigments are scattered in a fine rain into the wax and turned again and again. The workshop is run by 4 master candlemakers, perpetuating the excellence of candles that do not drip and give off no black smoke.
The dipping technique
Dipping dates back to the 15th century. It creates taper candles, finer at the top. Patiently selected cotton wicks are tied to wooden rods — this is the wicking. Placed on frames, the rods are dipped into the wax until the desired diameter is reached, under the expert eye of the Master Candlemaker.
