Description
Alfonso Bialetti's company, which patented it as the Moka Express in 1933, still produces this coffee maker — long since indispensable for lovers of old-style Italian coffee, strong in taste and gentle in caffeine.
This type of coffee maker uses rising pressurised steam for a coffee rich in aromas.
Suitable for all hobs except induction.
Available in 6 capacities: 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 or 18 cups.
Care advice:
- Not dishwasher-safe.
- Wash with clear water; no detergent needed.
- Descale from time to time by boiling white vinegar or rubbing gently with citric acid, then rinse well.
- Replace the gasket when it no longer seals.
