Léon Coursolle revolutionized the world of cutlery when he imagined a new kind of knife: the subject knife. His innovative idea was to create a knife whose handle would be sublimated by magnificent engravings embossed in brass. Thus was born the first French subject knife, a masterpiece combining aesthetics and functionality.
Coursolle knives are still made by hand, a tribute to the artisanal heritage of cutlery.
